The Sustainable Development Watch is now an official member of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth programme (SDSN Youth).

SDWatch provides a platform for the Community of the LL.M in Sustainable Development at the University of Milan, to disseminate original content stemming from their research, teaching activities and extracurricular events. With this aim in mind, the SDWatch team is committed to grow a network of partners, who will help us spread the word about our authors’ work and ideas.

As from August 2018, SDWatch is one of three youth-led Italian member organisations in a network of 360+ across all continents.

As a proud member of the SDSN Youth Network, SDWatch intends to connect our Community with like-minded individuals, to open new doors and generate opportunities locally, regionally and internationally. With SDWatch onboard, you can expect to receive quicker, more comprehensive and transparent information on events, programmes and initiatives generated throughout the network, as well as to see your contributions on SDWatch shared on a greater scale, making a lasting impact on an ever-bigger Community.

We are looking forward to a fruitful and lasting contribution with SDSN Youth and its members, as well as to offer you more opportunities and visibility from this day forward !

ABOUT SDSN Youth

SDSN Youth is a program of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network; an initiative launched by UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, in 2012 to mobilise global expertise around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2015, the SDSN launched its official youth initiative (SDSN Youth) to empower youth globally to create sustainable development solutions.

The programme primarily aims at ”Empowering youth globally to create sustainable solutions”, with activities revolving around three pillars:

1. Educate young people about the SDGs and create pathways for achieving them.

2. Connect young people globally to exchange ideas, share experiences and collaborate to achieve the SDGs.

3. Support young people in the creation and scaling of innovative solutions for the SDGs.
