Trafficking in Human Beings, and Forced and Compulsory Labor: A Case Study of “Chowdury and Others v. Greece”

Trafficking in human beings and forced labor has found modern forms in the contemporary world. As Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8.7 mentions, one of the main commitments of the States’ parties is to “take immediate and effective measures to eradicate forced labor, end modern slavery and human trafficking and secure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labor including the recruitment and use of the child soldiers, and by 2025 end child labor in all its forms”.
