Millennium Promise Alliance invites you to a webinar on the new age of Education.
Join Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, Prof. Klaus Leisinger and experts from Center for Sustainable Development Columbia University (CSD), University of Education Winneba, Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), OCP, Ministry of Education Ghana and Ministry of Local Government Uganda as we discuss how to achieve inclusive, equitable, sustainable and quality education for all post COVID-19.
Education is a fundamental human right and is indispensable for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. However, we must continue to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all affected worldwide by the current pandemic.
Though education is frequently managed as a local issue, it often requires stakeholders including global policymakers to work with partners in support of government agencies to provide equitable quality learning opportunities. Our panel of experts will explore these areas of discussion and more.
We now have a choice: accept the online education systems that seek to further widen the gap and leaving the hard-to-reach and the poor out as the status quo or seize this moment to help countries to rebuild their educational system leveraging ICT and energy needs to serve everyone equally. Can that be possible?
During this special webinar, experts will lead us to explore lessons learned in various countries, take a look at what we need to change in this new age and how each of us can cultivate new, bold solutions within our countries and operating sites in order to bridge the educational gap.
